Lesser, who currently serves as the global chair of Boston Consulting Group and previously held the position of CEO from 2013 to 2021, brings extensive experience in advising the World Economic Forum’s Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders.
Jeff Johnson appointed as general partner
Jeff Johnson, a seasoned climate and tech expert with over 25 years of experience, has been appointed as a general partner at B Capital.
Johnson previously served as the managing director of Temasek and co-founded Xpansiv, a market infrastructure provider for environmental commodities. His expertise will be invaluable in supporting B Capital’s climate-focused investments.
Aligning investments with global net-zero targets
These appointments align with B Capital’s objective to finance businesses working towards global net-zero targets. The firm has previously invested in carbon credit platform Patch Technologies and AI-powered decarbonization solutions provider Accacia.
