Antler, an early-stage venture capital firm, has invested $2 million across 15 new startups in Singapore and Indonesia.

The fresh backing comes as Antler aggressively expands its global startup funding footprint, which spans 30 cities worldwide.

Prolific Global Investor Scaling in Southeast Asia

Antler has already funded over 900 startups in just a few years to become the world’s most active early-stage investor.

The firm set up regional headquarters in Singapore in 2018, launching outposts in Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, and, most recently, Kuala Lumpur.

Antler aims to back founders from day one by providing co-founder matching, business validation, and pre-seed capital. The firm is a long-term partner to breakout companies beyond early funding.

10-Week Founder Bootcamp Culminates in Fresh Funding

The latest cohort of Antler-backed startups emerged from the firm’s signature 10-week founder program. Over 150 participants developed business ideas with Antler’s support and expertise.

The 15 startups successfully validated their models to secure $125,000 in pre-seed infusions. They span sectors from gaming social networks to fertility health platforms.

Indonesian standouts include integrated halal financing provider Hazana and Bandung-based lifestyle brand distribution platform Club Kyta.

6,000 Startups and Counting

To date, Antler has deployed $500 million into startups worldwide. With current funds, the prolific investor aims to back over 6,000 entrepreneurs by 2030.

The bevvy of fresh Singapore and Indonesia investments underscores Antler’s commitment to the region as a keystone for its aggressive global strategy.
