Zooming ahead in the EV race
Singapore-based IoT startup Beep has successfully raised $3.3 million in a Pre-Series A funding round.
Beep is making waves in the mobility and retail sectors, boasting the largest electric vehicle roaming network in Southeast Asia under its Voltality brand, which spans over 5,000 charge points and 20 partners.
Beep’s suite of solutions includes VoltNOW, a user-friendly EV charging platform; VoltNET, a flexible system for charging operators and mobility providers; and VoltPOS, a seamless payment solution for retail environments.
These offerings are designed to be easily integrated into existing infrastructure, minimizing adoption hurdles for businesses.
Expanding the grid
With fresh capital in hand, Beep is set to accelerate its expansion across Southeast Asia.
The company has already inked MOUs with industry giants like Grab, Singapore’s land transport authority, and Huawei.
Thailand and Malaysia are on the radar for 2024, with plans to enter additional regional markets in the following year.
