Beta testers get first dibs
Apple has begun rolling out its much-anticipated Apple Intelligence features, but there’s a catch.
Currently, these AI-powered tools are only available to developer beta testers running iOS 18.1.
If you’re not keen on potentially buggy software, you might want to hold off for the public beta or stable release.
Join the AI party
For those brave beta testers, enabling Apple Intelligence is straightforward. Navigate to Settings, tap on “Apple Intelligence & Siri,” and join the waitlist. Remember, you’ll need your device set to U.S. English and region to access these features.
Once approved, you’ll unlock a suite of AI-enhanced tools. Expect a smarter Siri, advanced writing assistance, intelligent email management, and enhanced photo search capabilities.
However, some promised features like object removal in photos and ChatGPT interactions are still in the pipeline.
