Tiny Tech, Big Dreams

Indian deep-tech startup Theranautilus secured $1.2 million in seed funding from pi Ventures, Golden Sparrow Ventures, plus notable angel investors.

The IISc-born company plans to pioneer nanorobotics-based dental treatments, targeting a $6 billion market opportunity serving 2 billion people globally affected by dental hypersensitivity.

Quick Fix for Sensitive Teeth

The startup’s breakthrough technology deploys microscopic robots to deliver biocompatible materials directly into dental tissues. This innovative 10-minute procedure promises lasting relief from tooth sensitivity through precise, targeted treatment at the microscopic level.

Beyond the Mouth

Looking ahead to 2025, Theranautilus will launch the world’s first human trials for nanorobotic medical devices. The company aims to expand its technology beyond dental applications, exploring potential treatments for cancer plus other medical conditions.
