Four’s a Charm
Google has taken the wraps off its most ambitious smartphone lineup yet, introducing four new models in the Pixel 9 series.
The family includes the standard Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the company’s second-generation foldable, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
All devices sport Google’s latest Tensor G4 processor and feature significant design overhauls, including flat edges and a raised oval camera module that spans the width of the phones.
Size Matters
The Pixel 9 Pro breaks new ground by offering a smaller 6.3-inch display, matching the base Pixel 9 model. Meanwhile, the Pixel 9 Pro XL boasts a 6.8-inch screen, making it the largest Pixel to date.
The star of the show, however, is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which expands from a 6.3-inch cover display to an impressive 8-inch main screen when unfolded.
AI Takes Center Stage
Google is doubling down on artificial intelligence, preloading all Pixel 9 phones with its Gemini AI assistant.
Pro models come bundled with a year of Gemini Advanced, offering enhanced conversational capabilities.
New AI-powered features include “Pixel Screenshots” for smart reminders and “Add Me,” which cleverly includes the photographer in group shots.
