Asian oat milk leader levels up
Singapore-based Oatside has raised $35 million in its ongoing Series B funding round, led by TR Capital and Granite Asia.
The round could potentially reach $74 million upon closing. This investment follows the company’s impressive revenue growth, which tripled to $37 million in 2023.
Expanding beyond milk
Founded in 2020, Oatside has quickly become a dominant player in the Asia-Pacific plant-based milk market.
The company recently diversified its product line, introducing oat milk ice cream flavors and new milk variants like Chocolate Malt. Oatside’s products are now available in over 18 countries across the region.
APAC thirsty for plant-based alternatives
The Asia-Pacific region leads global plant-based milk sales, reaching $9.8 billion in 2023.
This trend aligns with increasing consumer interest in eco-conscious options, particularly in Singapore, where 87% of citizens have tried milk alternatives.
