South Korean edtech company Elice has successfully raised $14.9 million in a Series C funding round led by Vertex Growth, with participation from Altos Ventures.
Specializing in personalized coding classes, Elice caters to corporate clients and educational institutions, boasting a clientele that includes major names such as Samsung, Hyundai Motors, SK Group, and Seoul National University.
Having expanded operations to Singapore last year, the funding injection aims to propel Elice’s growth in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region further.
Innovative learning with EliceLXP
Elice’s flagship product, EliceLXP, serves as a no-install coding learning environment, offering personalized classes and real-time tutoring features.
With a library containing over 1,000 educational pieces, the platform also provides a cheat-proof testing solution for competency assessments.
EliceLXP currently boasts more than 1.3 million users, experiencing an annual growth rate exceeding 111%, according to a company statement.
Future plans
Looking ahead, Elice plans to enhance its organizational capabilities and strategically explore further expansion in the APAC region.
Additionally, the company aims to fortify its AI technology by establishing an AI data center in Busan, underscoring its commitment to advancing digital learning solutions.
