Singapore’s Big Data Play

Keppel makes a bold move into the AI infrastructure space by acquiring a cutting-edge data center under development by Japanese property giant Mitsui Fudosan in Tokyo.
This strategic purchase aligns perfectly the company’s ambitious plan to double its data center funds from S$9 billion to S$19 billion.
Strategic Partnership Structure
Under this arrangement, Mitsui Fudosan will handle core development, leaving Keppel’s private fund responsible for fit-out operations.

The Singaporean company plans to assume facility management duties upon the center’s completion in 2027.
AI-Ready Infrastructure Push
The acquisition represents Keppel’s growing commitment to AI-ready infrastructure development.
This project serves to strengthen the portfolio of their upcoming Keppel Data Centre Fund III, positioning the company at the forefront of Asia’s expanding AI computing landscape.
