Symphony: TikTok’s AI magic wand for ads

TikTok has launched generative AI tools to help brands and creators expand globally by creating digital avatars and dubbed videos in various languages.

These features are part of TikTok Symphony, the app’s suite of ad solutions, offering pre-built stock models and custom avatars developed with diverse actors.

Symphony’s AI dubbing feature transcribes the original language and generates a dubbed version in over 10 languages and dialects.

With 79% of TikTok users preferring brands that create platform-specific content, these AI-powered tools are a game-changer for brands looking to connect with their audience.

TikTok’s US saga continues

TikTok’s announcement comes amidst legal challenges in the US. A local appeals court will review a new law requiring ByteDance, TikTok’s Chinese parent company, to sell its US assets by January 19, 2025, or face a ban.

ByteDance has hired former Warner Bros. general counsel John Rogovin to assist with the legal challenge.
