The initiatives are designed to drive AI adoption in both public and private sectors, cultivate a dynamic ecosystem of AI startups, and build a sustainable pipeline of AI talent.
Introducing AI Trailblazers 2.0
A centerpiece of this collaboration is the unveiling of AI Trailblazers 2.0, the second edition of a program that grants organizations access to Google Cloud’s unified AI stack and Innovation Sandbox.
This initiative empowers up to 150 local organizations to develop generative AI solutions swiftly addressing real-world challenges. The previous edition, AI Trailblazers, successfully tackled over 100 genAI use cases from 84 government and private organizations, resulting in 43 impactful solutions.
Google Startups Accelerator in April 2024
Furthermore, Google Cloud and EnterpriseSG introduced the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First Singapore, aiming to nurture 100 promising AI startups over the next three years. The program, set to kick off in April 2024, invites applications for its first cohort of 20 startups.
It offers access to Google Cloud’s AI tech stack, mentorship, technical support, and up to US$350,000 in Google Cloud credits upon completion.
Providing advanced training programs & scholarships
As part of addressing the rising demand for AI skills, Google Cloud is also providing 3,000 Google Career Certificate scholarships to local distribution partners, focusing on upskilling mid-career professionals in high-growth fields like cybersecurity, data analytics, and IT support.
Additionally, Nanyang Polytechnic is set to be the first higher learning institute in Singapore to integrate Google Cloud’s advanced training programs, including deploying machine learning solutions on Vertex AI, into its core curriculum.
