Clout Kitchen, a consumer AI startup, has just raised $4.45 million in seed funding. The company, founded in 2024, is dishing out creator-powered interactive experiences in gaming and pop culture. Operating from the US and the Philippines, Clout Kitchen aims to spice up fan engagement for top creators.

The funding round was co-led by a16z Games’ SPEEDRUN and Peak XV’s Surge. Other investors bringing flavors to the table include Taiwan’s AppWorks, Antler, Hustle Fund, Founders Launchpad, and Orvel Ventures. Notable founders and creators like Gabby Dizon (YGG) and Kun Gao (Crunchyroll) also joined the feast.
Main Course: Backseat AI
Clout Kitchen’s first product, Backseat AI, is an in-game “buddy” for League of Legends. Co-created Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp, it offers real-time guidance to players.
The AI-powered companion has already garnered over 45,000 waitlist signups since its June launch. Priced at $4.99 monthly per creator “buddy,” the platform ensures creators earn from every subscription.
