Cloud nine for Vietnamese startup CNV
CNV, a Vietnamese cloud-based business and marketing solutions provider, hit the jackpot by securing US$1 million in seed funding from US- and Singapore-headquartered VC firm Wavemaker Partners.
The startup hailed 2023 as a pivotal year, marked by the launch of its Zalo mini apps – enabling businesses to acquire users cost-effectively and engage them seamlessly.
Catering to 20,000 customers spanning multinationals, SMEs, and government agencies, CNV’s digital transformation SaaS products and marketing services empower MSMEs and enterprises in Vietnam.
The suite optimizes client-facing and back-end customer data platform analysis, facilitates sustainable growth via marketing, loyalty, and ecommerce activities, and incorporates gamification, automation marketing, and customer data platforms.
Wavemaker bets big on CNV’s nocode vision
Since inception in 2020 by Nguyen Tuan Phu and Do Dang Khoa, CNV reported a staggering 250% growth in revenue and customers, amassing US$30 million in annual gross merchandise value over 94,000 orders.
CEO Phu Nguyen aims to transform CNV into a “nocode sales and customer care platform” this year, buttressed by Wavemaker’s funding.
“Wavemaker Partners proudly supports CNV’s next growth phase, helping Vietnamese businesses drive meaningful results with sales and customer engagement using CNV’s comprehensive CDP and loyalty SaaS products,” affirmed Phuong Tran, Wavemaker Partners Principal.
