Sehat Kahani Gears Up with $2.7M Series A
Sehat Kahani, a Pakistan-based health-tech platform enabling remote doctor consultations, secured $2.7 million in Series A financing to broaden its telehealth footprint. Amaanah Circle, a Singapore health-tech investor, led the round.
Founded in 2017 by Drs. Sara Saeed Khurram, Iffat Zafar Aga, and Sehat Kahani have recently facilitated over 2.6 million e-consultations. Its platform allows individual consumers and corporate clients to access physicians, diagnostics, and medication delivery online.
140% Annual Growth
Khurram sparked the idea after temporarily halting her medical practice post-childbirth. She realized telemedicine’s power to continue assisting patients remotely. Sehat Kahani now counts 62 e-clinics and nearly 800 business customers nationwide.
The company has grown over 140% annually amid the rise of telehealth post-pandemic. “We have seen 5x cumulative growth in the post-Covid era,” said Aga, disproving myths that telemedicine benefited only peak COVID.
Profitability in Sights
Sehat Kahani ultimately aims to gain profitability by 2026 through sustained expansion. The Series A funds will drive hiring, technology investments, and MENA market entry. Last year, the firm raised $1 million in pre-Series A capital.
As Pakistan’s digital health leader, Sehat Kahani is well-positioned to drive telemedicine standardization with its ample funding arsenal.
