New kids on the tech block

Telkomsel Ventures and AppWorks unveiled seven startups forming the ninth batch of their Tinc accelerator program. Sectors span healthcare, finance, environment, marketing, and smart home tech.

Over six months, startups like pediatric health platform PrimaKu and credit-scoring firm SkorLife will collaborate with Telkomsel’s business units, exploring integration into the Indonesian telco’s ecosystem.

“We’ll accelerate their growth and help Telkomsel create a greater impact on Indonesia’s booming digital economy,” said Jamie Lin, AppWorks’ Chairman and Partner.

Pitch perfect

The program culminates in October with demos in Jakarta and a follow-up Taiwan session two months later.

Startups can pitch to potential investors and partners.

Since launching in 2018, Tinc has supported over 40 startups, including aquaculture unicorn eFishery and healthtech firm Zi.Care. Could this new batch produce Indonesia’s next billion-dollar companies?
