Miles ahead of the competition
Heymax, a Singapore-based loyalty platform, has secured US$2.6 million in seed funding led by January Capital.
The startup, founded by four ex-Meta engineers in 2023, aims to revolutionize rewards programs by helping users earn free vacations through their Max Miles points system.

Users can accumulate Max Miles through purchases from over 500 businesses, including major e-commerce platforms like Lazada and Shopee.
These points can be converted into miles or points at 25 airline and hotel partners, or exchanged for cash via a virtual card. This flexibility sets Heymax apart from traditional loyalty programs confined to a single ecosystem.
Growing pains and global gains
Despite some initial hiccups, such as delays in miles allocation, Heymax’s leadership team remains hands-on, addressing customer queries via a bustling Telegram group.

The fresh funding will fuel expansion beyond Singapore and Australia into Malaysia, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Additionally, the startup plans to invest in R&D and bolster its team across various departments.
