Locofy Lightning launches
Singapore software startup Locofy unveiled a new AI-powered product called Locofy Lightning this week, which can instantly convert Figma web designs into production-ready code with one click.
The release caps over $1 million invested into developing Locofy’s proprietary Large Design Models (LDMs).

Saves 80% of coding
Like OpenAI’s natural language systems, Locofy’s LDMs specialized in front-end development can analyze visual designs, optimize layouts, and structure quality code. The models aim to help developers save up to 80% of traditional UI coding time from scratch.
“Our investment of over US$1 million in the development of Locofy Lightning underscores our dedication to pushing the boundaries of front-end development,” said CEO Honey Mittal.
He co-founded Locofy in 2021 with Sohaib Muhammad to simplify collaboration between designers and engineers.

Revolutionizing with AI
Locofy Lightning, currently in beta for Figma integration, leverages the company’s extensive LDM training on millions of web design examples.
The one-click conversion caps weeks spent between creating app/website designs and hand-coding production interfaces.
Locofy continues to accelerate developer workflows through AI-powered automation, with $7.5 million already raised from investors like Golden Gate and Accel.
The new Lightning product marks a major achievement toward fulfilling that vision.
