Finger-lickin’ good investment
Singapore-based Har Har Chicken, a takeaway stall specializing in prawn paste chicken, has secured funding led by East Ventures.
The startup aims to build accessible and scalable Singaporean food brands, starting their culinary journey their signature har cheong gai offerings.
Founded by a quartet of food enthusiasts, including chef Lennard Yeong and Michelin-starred restaurateur LG Han, Har Har Chicken perfected its recipe after two years and 12 iterations.
The brand’s first outlet opened in July at Bishan’s Junction 8 Mall, featuring a diverse menu catering to various portion sizes.
Expanding the coop
Fueled by fresh capital, Har Har Chicken plans to expand to three branches in Singapore before setting its sights on international markets in 2025.
The funding will also support enhanced quality control measures and streamlined operations, promising even crunchier and tastier prawn paste chicken for fans.
