TikTok’s First Live Concert
TikTok held its first live concert event on December 10th, blending real-world performances with interactive digital components as the platform cemented its influence as a music trendsetter.
Dubbed “TikTok In The Mix,” the show featured stars like Cardi B and Charlie Puth performing in the round surrounded by towering vertical screens displaying smartphone-esque views.

TikTok’s Global Music Impact
The visual metaphor drove home TikTok’s outsized role in music discovery as artists directly addressed the crowd as “fellow TikTokers” throughout the night.
Up-and-comers like Isabel LaRosa, who found fame on the app, effusively praised TikTok’s career-launching power on stage.
The sold-out event capped off years of music-focused testing by TikTok in areas like artist services and streaming apps abroad.
“Any excuse to throw a big global livestream completely centered around music, hopefully, is a good thing for everyone involved,” said TikTok’s head of music partnerships, Paul Hourican.

“Money-Making Ventures”
TikTok manifested its smartphone-heavy ethos by blending real-world showmanship with digital augmentation like livestreams.
Brands like Coca-Cola seized the chance to market to the Gen Z audience as the show hammered home TikTok’s playbook of transitioning internet influence into money-making ventures.
