The digital fairy godmother for businessesUnlocking the Philippines’ tech potential

The Philippines’ digital economy has been on a steady upward trajectory, recovering from a yearlong slump in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Seizing this opportunity, SID Global Solutions (SIDGS) is investing over US$20 million to establish its digital engineering hub for the Asia-Pacific region in Manila, the country’s capital.

The digital fairy godmother for businesses

SIDGS specializes in preparing companies for digitalization by offering a range of services, including customer experience analytics, supply chain management, HR platforms, and financial planning and analysis.

The company serves well-known clients such as Singtel, Amazon Web Services, and Lululemon.

Unlocking the Philippines’ tech potential

Venkat Madipadaga, the company’s founder and chairman, emphasized the growing importance of the Philippines in the tech landscape, citing its young and tech-savvy population and increasing digital usage across various sectors.

As part of the investment, SIDGS will establish digital engineering and delivery facilities throughout the Philippines and implement a digital engineering certification program in collaboration with local colleges and universities.
