Privy, an Indonesia-based digital authentication services company, has acquired local online tax platform AyoPajak for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition aims to strengthen both companies’ offerings in the digital tax services space.

AyoPajak benefits from Privy’s tech

Founded in 2020, AyoPajak has quickly grown to become a leading tax reporting and consultancy platform for Indonesian individuals and businesses.

By integrating with Privy’s electronic signature and identity verification technologies, AyoPajak will be able to guarantee the security and confidentiality of user tax information.

Digital authentication growth

“We are excited to collaborate with the AyoPajak team to become the premier digital tax administration service in Indonesia,” said Privy CEO Marshall Pribadi.

“With Privy’s certified e-signature capabilities and strong user verification tools, taxpayers can securely access and submit their tax documentation online.”

The acquisition represents further expansion in the digital authentication sector for Privy. Since its founding in 2016, over 3,000 companies have adopted Privy’s identity verification services across 46 million end users.

This deal also builds on Privy’s momentum after raising US$48 million in a November 2022 Series C funding round.
