Revving up the electric runway
Vietnam-based electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast Auto is gearing up to enter the Philippine EV race this month.
Following a meeting between the company’s CEO and the Philippine President in January, VinFast has set its official brand launch for June 1-2, inviting guests to explore its range of EVs, including cars, motorcycles, and bicycles.

Shifting gears towards electrified roads
As EV adoption in the Philippines gains momentum, with projected sales reaching 6.6 million by 2030, VinFast aims to establish a nationwide dealer network.
This expansion marks another milestone in the company’s ambitious goal of delivering 100,000 EVs globally by the year’s end, despite a slower start in Q1 2024.

Beyond the Philippines, VinFast, a subsidiary of the Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup, has invested in various countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, India, Canada, Europe, and the US, accelerating its pursuit of a greener automotive future.
