Rapido’s New Venture into Cabs

Rapido, a company that started eight years ago in India offering bike rides, is now going to start offering car rides too. This is a big deal because Uber and another popular Indian company called Ola already have a lot of customers in India.

A company from Bengaluru is starting a test of its taxi service in Hyderabad. If it goes well, they will bring the service to other cities like Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Chandigarh.

The Rapido cabs will start operating in Delhi-NCR very soon, maybe next week. This information was shared by three people who know about it.

Rapido’s Next Frontier

Rapido used to only have motorcycles and auto rickshaws for people to ride on. But now, they have decided to also include cars as an option. This means they have more choices for people to pick from and it might make more people want to use their service.

This also makes it more likely that people who have used Uber before will keep using it when they need a ride in a car.

We are really happy to tell you that our trial of Rapido Cabs in Hyderabad has been really successful. The people in the city have welcomed us with open arms and have given us a very positive response, which makes us feel really good.

Rapido’s Next Move

We want to keep you updated on what we are doing and we are excited to bring our new services to more cities in the future.

Rapido, a company that provides cab services, wants to make it easier for people to book tickets for traveling between cities.

They are going to work together with Zingbus, a company that helps people book bus tickets. This partnership will help both companies grow and reach more customers.

Rapido has collected a lot of money, $324 million to be exact, according to a website called Tracxn. They got $180 million in their most recent collection in April of last year.

Some companies and groups, like WestBridge, Shell Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, and AdvantEdge, have given Rapido money because they think it’s a good idea. Another company called Swiggy and a big two-wheeler company in India called TVS Motor Company also support Rapido.
