Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has unveiled a new project called Giggle Academy, a free online education platform catering to learners from grades one to twelve.

The platform aims to provide an “adaptive individualized curriculum” covering subjects such as math, science, physics, biology, and finance.

Bridging the education gap

Giggle Academy is a zero-revenue platform that leverages AI and automation to deliver high-quality education.

Rather than replacing existing education systems, the platform aims to provide underprivileged children in developing countries with access to comprehensive learning opportunities.

Navigating legal woes

The launch of Giggle Academy comes amidst Zhao’s legal troubles.

In November 2023, the Binance founder pleaded guilty to anti-money laundering charges, agreeing to step down as CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange as part of a $4.3 billion settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice.

The criminal trial for Zhao has been postponed to April 30.
