South Korean gaming company Wemade is partnering with Singapore-based Whampoa Digital to launch a $100 million Web3 investment fund.
Targeting Middle East and North Africa
Together, the firms will provide capital to blockchain projects and gaming studios across the Middle East and North Africa.
The move aligns with Wemade’s plans for a Web3 hub in Dubai’s financial district, where the fund will also house an office.
The Dubai complex and an innovation center run by the district authority will offer facilities and mentorship opportunities to the fund’s portfolio companies.
