Saving the Planet, One Profitable Startup at a TimeInvestible and Mandiri Capital’s Eco-Innovations for Saving the World

Investible and Mandiri Capital Indonesia are teaming up to launch the creatively named “Mandiri-Investible Global Climate Tech Fund.” Real roll-off-the-tongue stuff.

Saving the Planet, One Profitable Startup at a Time

Their mission? To find and fund startups across Southeast Asia and Oceania that can solve our climate crisis through the power of for-profit business models!

The duo will target all your favorite eco-friendly sectors like energy, transportation, agriculture, and more. Anything that smells vaguely of trees saves electricity or reduces emissions. Ka-ching!

While keeping the fund size top secret (they wouldn’t want competitors stealing their green monopoly), they promise that 30% will go to climate projects in Indonesia. How generous of these kinds of souls!

Mandiri Capital Indonesia’s Dennis Pratistha hopes this will help climate startups expand globally. We’re sure it has nothing to do with increasing their ROI.

Meanwhile, Investible has already scouted over 3,200 opportunities but only invested in 19 so far. Talk about being picky! They’re holding out for the real diamond-in-the-rough planet-savers.

Some lucky green teens already funded include battery recycling startup Renewable Metals and energy manager CIM. So what revolutionary eco-innovations will they back next? A biodegradable glitter startup? Plastic-eating bacteria? Stay tuned!

Our environmentally-ravaged world doesn’t stand a chance with these profit-driven investors on the case. Now, let’s go make that cheddar while saving Mother Earth!
