Singapore’s AI whiz kid grows up!
This acquisition follows Sqreem’s recent strategic moves, including the acquisition of Trade Indy, an advertising firm from Melbourne, in March 2024, and Gamma SSP, a programmatic ad solutions firm, in 2021.
The TotallyAwesome deal aims to harness the synergy between Sqreem’s AI technology and TotallyAwesome’s user base to create “precision-targeted web environments for young users and their families.”
Keeping the fun in youth marketing
Sqreem’s acquisition of TotallyAwesome also positions the company to navigate the complex landscape of ethical youth marketing amidst growing global concerns about responsible AI usage, particularly when targeting vulnerable audiences.
Founded in 2006, Sqreem provides B2B solutions that leverage AI to analyze digital behavior, catering to enterprises in advertising and various other commercial fields.
TotallyAwesome, on the other hand, has collaborated with clients such as Lego, Nerf, and Hot Wheels to create digital microsites, games, and quizzes for young audiences, in addition to offering consulting, media planning, and engagement services.
