Meesho, the Softbank-backed e-commerce startup, has launched a groundbreaking generative AI voice bot that revolutionizes customer support.

The innovative technology handles 60,000 daily customer calls in English and Hindi, dramatically reducing operational expenses by 75%.

Breaking Barriers Beyond Urban Markets

The Bengaluru-based company, valued at $4.9 billion, serves over 160 million customers—80% located in smaller cities, towns, and villages. By leveraging existing large language models and custom-built components, Meesho’s AI solution navigates complex linguistic nuances and technical challenges like low-quality smartphone audio and noisy backgrounds.

Expanding Linguistic Horizons
