Plans to Develop RCS & building AI toolRising to be the leader in Indonesian legal tech

Hukumonline, an Indonesian digital legal services provider, has raised an undisclosed Series B round from nonprofit investment fund Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF).

Plans to Develop RCS & building AI tool

CEO Arkka Dhiratara said Hukumonline will use the new financing to further develop its flagship Regulatory Compliance System (RCS) and build Indonesia’s first legal generative AI tool.

The AI-powered RCS helps enterprise clients monitor legal compliance in real-time.

Rising to be the leader in Indonesian legal tech

Founded in 2000 by Indonesian legal experts, Hukumonline provides legal information, consultations, and business licensing services. It claims thousands of clients including law firms, government agencies, and universities.

MDIF has previously invested in Hukumonline’s 2017 and 2020 Series A rounds through its Emerging Media Opportunity Fund.

The latest capital injection will further Hukumonline’s mission of leveraging technology to expand access to legal services and information across Indonesia. With a new legal AI tool in the works, the company seems poised to strengthen its position as a leader in Indonesian legal tech.
