Silicon Slingshots in the East

Fasten your seatbelts as GreenNode, a subsidiary of Vietnam’s tech giant VNG, joins forces with the AI accelerator mavens at Nvidia.

This power couple is turbocharging enterprises across Southeast Asia, India, Australia, Japan, and Korea with Nvidia’s beefy H100 Tensor Core GPUs, putting high-octane AI models in the driver’s seat.

Vietnam’s Tech Titans Go Full Throttle on AI

According to Anh Tung Vu, the product guru at GreenNode, this partnership is set to be a launchpad for AI adoption in the region. Vietnam’s IT conglomerate FPT is also revving up a $200 million “AI factory” fueled by Nvidia’s silicon muscle.

The AI arms race is heating up in Vietnam, with Nvidia co-investing $200 million with Indonesian telco Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison to construct an AI pit stop.

Simultaneously, VNG is joining hands with STT GDC to build data center projects in Ho Chi Minh City, establishing a direct link to VNG’s gaming and cloud platforms – a pit crew for the AI race.
