AI brain meets video brawn

The video-sharing giant YouTube is experimenting with a new feature that harnesses Google’s Gemini AI to assist creators in generating video ideas, titles, and thumbnails.

This innovative tool, dubbed “Brainstorm with Gemini,” aims to streamline the creative process for content makers on the platform.

Robo-muse battles social media rivals

This limited test potentially gives YouTube an edge over rival social media platforms.

By integrating Google’s AI technology, YouTube encourages creators to stay within its ecosystem rather than turning to external AI tools like ChatGPT for content inspiration.

YouTube is gauging creator preferences between its existing AI-powered content inspiration tool and the new Gemini integration.

The platform seeks to determine whether creators find value in one or both AI assistants when developing their content ideas.
