The Dream Team Assembles

Jony Ive, the design mastermind behind Apple’s iconic products, has confirmed his collaboration with OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman on a new AI device startup.

This partnership, first rumored last year, aims to create a less socially disruptive computing experience than the iPhone.

Stealth Mode: Engaged

Details about the unnamed startup remain shrouded in secrecy.

However, we know that Ive’s firm LoveFrom is spearheading the design efforts. Industrial designer Marc Newson is also on board, though product specifics and launch timelines are still under wraps.

Show Them the Money

Despite the mystery, investors are lining up. The startup is reportedly seeking up to $1 billion in funding by year’s end.

Laurene Powell Jobs’ Emerson Collective and Ive himself have already opened their wallets, signaling strong confidence in the venture.
