AI Meets Apps

Apple’s upcoming iOS 18 introduces Apple Intelligence, a set of AI capabilities that could fundamentally change how we interact apps.

This move comes at a crucial time, the traditional App Store model faces regulatory challenges, AI assistants like ChatGPT are gaining popularity for everyday tasks.

Siri Gets Smarter

Apple Intelligence isn’t just about built-in features. The real game-changer lies in how it empowers third-party apps. Siri will soon be able to access any item from an app’s menu effortlessly. Imagine asking Siri to “show my presenter notes” in a slide deck, it will know exactly what to do.

The AI-powered assistant will also understand context from your screen, enabling more natural interactions.

Developers in the Driver’s Seat

Apple is providing tools for developers to integrate Apple Intelligence into their apps. Initially available for specific app categories like Books, Cameras, and Word processors, this functionality is expected to expand across the App Store.

Users will be able to interact conversationally Siri to perform complex tasks within apps, even across multiple applications. This could transform the way we use our devices, making app interactions more intuitive and efficient than ever before.
