- Qarbotech raises $1.5M for photosynthesis-enhancing tech
- Promises 60% yield increase
- Expands across Southeast Asia
Nanotech Meets Agriculture
Malaysian agritech startup Qarbotech has secured $1.5 million in funding to revolutionize crop growth. Their secret weapon? QarboGrow, a photosynthesis enhancer that promises to increase crop yields by up to 60%.
Spray-On Success
QarboGrow isn’t your average fertilizer. Using nanotechnology, it integrates with plant chloroplasts to supercharge photosynthesis. Early results are impressive – rice yields increased by 1 ton per hectare in a pilot project covering 400 hectares in Indonesia.
Growing Beyond Borders
With fresh capital from investors including 500 Global and Better Bite Ventures, Qarbotech is set to expand. They’re scaling operations across Southeast Asia and opening a manufacturing facility in Malaysia capable of producing 100,000 liters of QarboGrow monthly.
