- AI grills promise perfect backyard cooking.
- Seergrills’ Perfecta and Brisk It’s NeoSear uses sensors, processors, and apps to guide temperature, timing, and seasoning.
- The grills can sear food in 90 seconds or create custom recipes from voice commands.
Artificial intelligence moved into backyard grilling at the 2024 CES show, with two companies unveiling high-tech barbeque systems designed to achieve cooking perfection through smart assistance.
Both Seergrills’ Perfecta and Brisk It’s NeoSear leverage built-in sensors, processors, and apps to guide users on precise temperatures, timing, and seasoning.
Perfecta’s NeuralFire technology
The $3,500 Perfecta grill utilizes “NeuralFire” technology to cook items like a 1-inch ribeye in 90 seconds based on customer selection of preferences like meat cut, doneness, and sear level.
NeoSear: AI-assisted grilling queries
Meanwhile, Brisk It’s wood pellet and electric-powered NeoSear grill comes with an AI assistant for natural language grilling queries and custom recipe creation.
An upgrade over Brisk It’s preset-based InnoGrill 1.0 model, the new generative AI allows home chefs to voice commands like “sear this salmon fillet for 2 minutes,” and the system handles the rest autonomously. Cost details remain unannounced.
“Imagine speaking with your grill, saying anything that you can think of, and then having the grill create and cook the perfect customized recipe all on its own,” explained Brisk It CEO Christopher Huang.
Smart assistant technology is now seasoned into high-end grill hardware, and companies like Seer and Brisk aim to make summer barbeques foolproof using AI guidance. Even Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg may envy these automated backyard enhancements.
