The AI computer chip maker will likely have a $500m+ valuation

South Korean startup, Rebellions, is said to be gearing up for a Series B funding round, potentially valuing the company at upwards of US$500 million.

With aspirations to secure approximately US$100 million, the firm aims to expedite the creation of its next-generation AI chip. Currently, Rebellions is engaging with investors from Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Europe.

The company is using this funding to accelerate the development of its next-generation AI chip, which is designed to be more efficient and powerful than existing AI chips.

REBELLIONS wants to get a lot of money from people all around the world to help make a special computer chip that can think like a person. They hope that more people will want this kind of computer chip because it is important for running things like robot helpers and other smart services.

Rebellions are like a new company that wants to sell special computer chips that can make artificial intelligence programs run.

They have other companies they are competing with, like Groq and Tenstorrent, who are also trying to sell these chips.

There are also big companies like Nvidia who are already really successful in this market. When someone asked Rebellions for a comment, they chose not to say anything.

Money from all around the world is being invested in companies in the US and China that are creating really smart computer programs.

This happened because a special computer program called ChatGPT was made by OpenAI.

A company from Korea wants to get money from both private investors and the government to make a special computer chip called “Rebel”.

South Korea has set aside around $615 million to support its own AI chip designers until 2030. This money will help them create new types of computer chips, which are like the brains of machines.

South Korea wants to make sure it has more than just the memory chips that Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are famous for.

Rebellions and their friends make special computer parts that are really good at doing specific jobs like seeing things and talking to people.

But Nvidia is still the best at doing the really hard work of teaching computers how to understand and use language.
