Inbox Intelligence

Google is upping its email game by introducing revamped “summary cards” to Gmail. These smart features will help users organize and act on their emails efficiently, offering quick access to package tracking, flight check-ins, bill payments, and more.

Your Personal Email Assistant

The new summary cards will visually organize information from related emails across categories like Purchases, Events, Bills, and Travel. Users can now access key details without sifting through individual messages.

The cards will appear at the top of emails, providing at-a-glance information such as package delivery dates, flight schedules, and bill due dates.

Coming Soon to Your Inbox

Rolling out from October 2, the feature will start purchase summary cards on iOS and Android. Over the next month, additional card types and a “Happening soon” section will be introduced.

Eventually, all four card categories will be available across individual emails, the new section, and search, transforming how users interact their Gmail accounts.
