Accelerating growth with a $7.2M war chest

SWAT Mobility, the Singapore-based AI transportation solutions provider, has secured an additional $3.8 million in funding, bringing its current round to a total of $7.2 million.

With its sights set on expanding across Asia, the startup is gearing up for profitability within the next one to two years.

Unlike ride-hailing giants, SWAT Mobility offers AI-powered solutions to optimize travel routes for transport operators, government agencies, and logistics companies.

This unique approach has garnered traction in markets like Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Japan, where over 50 clients leverage its models.

Fortifying its foothold in the Japanese logistics sector

The fresh funds will bolster SWAT Mobility’s R&D efforts, particularly in logistics-focused services.

Anticipating labor shortages in Japan’s trucking industry due to upcoming regulation changes, the company has established an engineering team and expanded its sales and customer service operations in the country.

The funding round saw participation from strategic investors, including NEC & Translink Orchestrating Future Fund, NX Global Innovation Fund (backed by Nippon Express), and Japanese utility firm Chubu Electric Power, underscoring the company’s potential in the AI-powered transportation space.
