About Healint“Augment existing treatment”Financial and strategic implications

U.S.-based Aptar Digital Health has purchased Singapore healthtech company Healint for an undisclosed sum, accelerating Aptar’s development of AI-powered precision medicine software.

Healint’s services will now be integrated into Aptar’s operations.

About Healint

Founded in 2013, Healint created the popular migraine-tracking app Migraine Buddy in 2014.

With over 3 million registered users, the app helps patients better understand their conditions through sensor readings.

Healint also developed the chronic pain management app Clarrio.

“Augment existing treatment”

According to founder and CEO François Cadiou, the acquisition will “augment existing treatment” through Healint’s AI software.

Healint reported $2.2 million in revenue for the 2023 financial year, a 33% increase over the previous year.

It also recorded a positive EBIT of $74,000, down from $1.3 million in 2022.

Financial and strategic implications

While specific financial details remain undisclosed, Cadiou called reported post-money valuation and revenue figures “pretty wrong.”

The acquisition allows Aptar, which provides end-to-end drug delivery solutions and data analytics, to expand its global presence and introduce new clinical trial management tools.

With operations across 20 countries, the deal gives Aptar access to Healint’s 3 million app users worldwide.
