As OpenAI’s biggest investor, with over $10 billion committed, Microsoft quickly integrated the lab’s capabilities into Bing post-ChatGPT to offer more conversational search.
But an OpenAI-owned search engine would constitute a bolder gambit after CEO Satya Nadella said he hoped to make 800-pound gorilla Google “dance.”
