Southeast Asia, known for its picturesque vacation spots, is also gaining recognition for its fertility care. However, the region faces some of the world’s lowest birth rates, and infertility has become a major concern.

Traditionally, people have had to navigate through a fragmented landscape of third-party players and siloed providers to address their reproductive needs.

The fertility fairy godmother, Rhea

Enter Rhea, a Singapore-headquartered startup that has just raised an additional $10M. Rhea aims to be a one-stop shop for reproductive care, connecting families in Asia with their global network of solutions.

The company boasts over 380 staff across 12 markets and has garnered the support of prominent investors such as Thiel Capital, LifeX Ventures, Blue Lion Global, and FJ Labs.

What started as a plan to create a small roll-up of SEA-based clinics has evolved into a comprehensive ecosystem of services.

Rhea’s offerings include GenPrime, a global network of owned and partner clinics; Rhea Labs, which leverages technology and data to enhance patient outcomes and create leading products; and Fertility Wellness Partners, which collaborates with companies like Moom Health, Elix Healing, and Madam Partum to provide additional reproductive health products and services.

$10M baby steps to world domination

The newly acquired $10M will be used to acquire more clinics, expand services into new markets, and grow Rhea’s team.

The company’s mission is to create a seamless, end-to-end experience for those seeking reproductive care in Asia, ensuring that families have access to the support they need on their journey to parenthood.
