The juicy figure slipped out in court Monday during G’s antitrust battle. Google lawyer was NOT happy – talk about airing your dirty laundry.

Google’s Payments Soar as the Default Search on iPhones Adds to the Bounty.

For comparison, Epic’s suing Google over the 30% cut it takes on Google Play. So Apple’s getting an even sweeter deal only for being the default search on iPhones.

That’s on top of the $18 billion Google already pays Apple annually for the privilege.

Safari still makes up 27% of mobile browsers. So, with Google raking in $280 billion in search in 2022, it could be forking over $20 billion from Safari.

Do you know Why Google Urges Browser Switches?

All told, we’re talking gazillions of dollars here—enough to end green bubble discrimination once and for all.

So next time Google nudges you to switch browsers, you know why. They’re shelling out fat stacks to A for every iPhone user. No wonder they want you on Chrome.
