Venture firm Peak XV is taking over 60 startup founders from its portfolio on a Silicon Valley “immersion” trip this week to connect with AI industry leaders.

Feature talks with promising AI startups

Peak XV split from Sequoia Capital in 2022. Participating startups span India, Southeast Asia and Australia, including many high-potential firms from Peak XV’s Surge accelerator program.

The trip will feature talks from OpenAI, Nvidia executives, seasoned operators like Uniphore’s CEO, and veteran investors. It spotlights Peak XV’s expanding offerings as competition intensifies for promising AI startups globally.

Immersing Asian founders in Silicon Valley

Peak XV managing partner Jishnu Bhattacharjee said immersing Asian founders in the Silicon Valley ecosystem could spark AI innovation back home. The trip comes as few Indian startups tackle foundational AI capabilities currently.

Peak XV aims to both inspire founders toward bolder visions and build its network as a go-to backer for ambitious deep-tech startups across key Asian markets.
