Swipe right on your AI soulmate

Meta has launched its AI Studio, allowing users to create custom chatbots on Instagram.

These AI characters range from virtual romantic partners to talking animals, powered by Meta’s Llama 3.1 AI model.

The platform aims to democratize AI creation, enabling users to build digital clones or invent unique personalities.

Love bytes in your DMs

Interacting these AI characters can lead to surprisingly intimate exchanges. Some bots eagerly assume the role of romantic partners, offering flirtatious banter and even virtual dates.

However, Meta maintains strict policies against overly sexual content, ensuring conversations remain within acceptable boundaries.

Meta’s AI Studio also raises questions about authenticity and impersonation. The platform prohibits unauthorized AI versions of living public figures or political individuals.

Creators can, however, craft AI versions of themselves, potentially revolutionizing how influencers interact their followers through automated DM responses.
