Tech veterans set sights on the Savanna

Singapore’s XA Network, an investment powerhouse founded by Southeast Asian tech alumni, is taking a walk on the wild side with its expansion into Africa. The launch of XA Africa marks a bold step in the network’s global vision to nurture innovation in emerging markets.

Not just another VC in the jungle

XA Africa isn’t your average investor. Founded by tech heavyweights Nitin Gajria (ex-Google), Jason Scott (venture capitalist), and Marek Dawidowicz (YouTube), the firm aims to be a game-changer. They’re not just throwing money at startups; they’re offering a lifeline of expertise and connections to help African founders scale their ventures.

From Southeast Asia to Serengeti

With nearly 100 investments under its belt in Southeast Asia, XA Network is no stranger to emerging markets. Now, they’re building bridges between African and Southeast Asian ecosystems. Early bets on startups like Crop2Cash (Nigeria) and BuuPass (Kenya) show they’re not just talking the talk – they’re walking the walk, or should we say, trekking the trek?
